Pollution and Wildlife and Marine Life  By Brad

Poor animals are always dieing from plastic bags and are hopeless.

Which animals are hurt?

Seabirds, whales, turtles, sharks, fish, dolphins and seals are always dying from eating plastic.

There are many varieties of threats to whales too. Most are from human activities. When we use products that let tiny beads off into the ocean, most of the time hair gel and that sort of thing and face wash the beads are eaten by whales, fish, seabirds and it is an easy but dangerous meal to digest.  It gets stuck in their stomach and builds up and they can’t eat and die of starvation. These beads are called parabens and they are now illegal in New zealand for vairous reasons I will get into detail just for extra detail just so you know what to be awear of. Parabens were in toothpaste and made it so you would have really bad teeth that were even kinda brittle.

Turtles and Plastic Pollution

Hundreds and thousands of turtles die a year from eating and getting stuck in plastic. Because they think its food and they cant swim in it they get stuck in it. Then the turtles sadly suffocate and die. The Great pacific garbage patch in the pacific ocean is 6.5 metres of rubbish deep. There is 3.5 millon tons of rubbish in this disgusting soup of death.

Seabirds

One millon seabirds die a year from eating or getting caught in plastic rings that get caught around their necks and feet which causes the failure of flight or breathing.

What can people do?

People can use less plastic bags and use cloth bags or paper materials.

Conclusion

The moral of these facts is to try and stop plastic being used as much as possible and pollution from spreading around earth.  We need to save the animals and humans from this crisis caused by a tiny matieral. One person can make a big difference by just using a cloth bag that we can reuse.

COMPREHENSION

They had Greece, Italy, Bangladesh, Trinidad and Tobago, Ethiopia, Norway, the Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, japan, jamaica, Thailand, Romania, Panama, Ireland and france.

The big kids have to buddy up with the little kids to help. :3

The kids do nine types of sports.

Greece was at the front.

The rest marched in alphabetical order.

The kids learnt about the flags and their team they found out lot about their countries.

I liked the arm wrestling the most because it’s just really fun in a way.

My mum thought the book was great she enjoyed how much they enjoy

a path to where?

Once there was a wonderful place full of flowers no river there was sky tall trees they reached up so high that you couldn’t see the top Wind flows past my face. It was peaceful but not so peaceful on the other side there's a dark and terrible place where there was fire and and flowers that perish in flames the nice place was called the Myth land of wonders, the other place was called Dragon door nobody entered but one his name was Billy he was brave and wealthy he never became a coward nothing stopped him. Billy found out that the leader of dragon door was planning an attack on myth land of wonders. Well roden is alive he must destroy myth land of wonders. It smells gross and looks like an ugly gruesome place, unlike ours rodens so called lovely kingdom is filled with burning flowers, the fire feels like the skulls will snuggle up to it. When the fire blows through the wind makes a wonderful smell and the taste roden never checked what it tastes like. ronden thinks it tastes like marshmallows what does it sound like nothing because everything is dead but the bones crack but now it's time to attack ow ow ow bright he being sizzled in the sun what is happening to much sun in my eyes and getting under my skin red ants are biting my ankles and crawling up my legs ahhh this is not the last of me you pesky happy loving people
